The Girl from Ipanema
The Girl from Ipanema
Astrud Gilberto
Tall and tan
and young and lovely
The girl from Ipanema goes walking
And when she passes, each one she passes goes
- ah
When she walks, she's like a samba
That swings so cool and sways so gently
That when she passes, each one she passes goes
- ah
Oh, but he watches so sadly
How can he tell her he loves her
Yes, he would give his heart gladly
But each day, when she walks to the sea
She looks straight ahead, not at he
...
Oh, see he watches so sadly
How can he tell her he loves her
Yes, he would give his heart gladly
But each day, when she walks to the sea
She looks straight ahead, not at he
Tall, and tan, and young, and lovely
The girl from Ipanema goes walking
And when she passes, she smiles - but she doesn't see
She just doesn't see,
no she doesn't see,
she doesn't see...

Ahhhh, Frank
Ear worm, Ear worm, Ear worm! At least it's a nice one. If I dream about Brazil I know why :p.
No need to thank me. Just enjoy, as it replays in your head, over, and over, and over, for the next several days (or even weeks!).
dude
have you seen the girl from ipanema lately?
ICK
this scares me that brasilian women do not age well
I did see her, Colleen, on Wikipedia, recently. You're right; I said "She's-the Girl from Ipanema?" Well, no need for me to fly to Ipanema anytime soon, I guess.
Hey Frank, how's school going?
Ughh, lot's of work right now. I'm taking 3 graduate classes, so it's like everyday of the week, I have either some committment, or work to turn in, the falling day. And, it's going to get busier! Thank goodness this is my last semester of classes, before comps and my thesis. At least then, I'll be the one regulating the workload!
Wow 3 classes at once. Good for you, or maybe bad for you- just remember to get some sleep sometimes!
You must be counting the days until next semester. It'll be here before you know it.
