I Am At Ease In The Arms Of A Woman

Arms of a Woman

Amos Lee

I am at ease in the arms of a woman
although now most of my days are spent alone
a thousand miles from the place I was born
But when she wakes me she takes me back home

Now most days I spend like a child
who’s afraid of ghosts in the night
I know there ain’t nothing out there
I’m still afraid to turn on the light

I am at ease in the arms of a woman
although now most of my days are spent alone
a thousand miles from the place I was born
but when she wakes me she takes me back home

A thousand miles from the place I was born
But when she wakes me she takes me back home

I am at ease in the arms of a woman
although now most of my days are spent alone
a thousand miles from the place I was born
when she wakes me she takes me
Yeah, when she wake me she takes me
Yeah, when she wake me she takes me back home

When she wake me she takes me back home

I havent been able to download this song as yet. Is it slow at all?
How is your class situation working out? Was anyone able to help?

You'll like it, and probably the whole album. This song, and most of them, are slower, soulful. It looks like the CD is just called "Amos Lee" (I'll check again on that). I saw him on one of the late night, Beelzebub shows a few weeks back. He's really good; they're calling him the male Norah Jones. Then, this CD was sitting there at the library, brand new, so I grabbed it quickly. I'll probably post at least one more. I wish I could actually post the audio!

My class, well, they worked something out where I'll take equivalent stuff during the fall, so I'm only doing one class now, but then I'll have 3 left (the end of classwork), in the fall. This is probably ok, as I'm probably going to have to concentrate on financial life more now anyway, and then finish out most of my academic stuff in fall. It's kinda working out, in an unexpected way.

oh good, good, good. Glad that everything worked out. Wonderful when things work out, even if you have to take the scenic route.

I finally got to listen to this song, and another called Im not myself. I really like his music, and the lyrics do sound very personal. You can tell he's singing something he's been through.
Real nice.
