(Tom O'Dell demonstrating a massive broadsword, which you might be able to own for like only $25 !!!)

Have you ever had the feeling that, maybe you just don't have enough knives in your life? That's right, knives. Well, neither have I; until recently that is. Are you short on Delta Rangers? Need a Kitana sword? Or maybe a broad sword? I can tell you where to find them. On weekend mornings, Friday-Sunday, at 2am Mountain time (and apparently the show is broadcast live across the country), one can find on TV what is called, "The Knife Show". On The Knife Show, broadcast live, a couple of Southern guys will try to sell you all types of knives and knife sets, which whirl around on plexiglass tables similar to the displays on Home Shopping Network; except these are all knives (or swords sometimes). The show apparently has a cult following now, according to my Internet search for info on it. Todd Boone will sell to you a set of 200 various types of knives for like 80-$100 or so (that's less than a buck a knife in many cases!). Or later, Tom O'Dell, who now has his own cult following due to his twangy, somtimes bizarre speech and behavior, will come on, with his hyperactive sales pitching for bowies, tactical rangers, and all sorts of other knives. And the phone in the backround is ringing off the hook! I've never really seen anything like it!

Although I already have a couple of pocket knives that come in handy from time to time, I am beginning to wonder now if indeed I have enough knives; if indeed anyone ever really has enough knives. On a few occasions they have almost convinced me that I need a Kitana sword, or a Fireman's Special, or a hand-carved Bowie. Through an internet search, I found out that in one live episode, one of the assistants demonstrating the durability of a sword, broke it on a table with a piece of it stabbing him in the stomach! Now that is some live television! O'Dell, in shock, apparently said, "We may need to perform emergency surgery on the set"! These guys are chock-full of sayings and unique ways of describing the merchandise, and can be a riot to watch at times. I find myself now holding out until 2am many weekends, so I can catch a little of "The Knife Show"; truly wondering if I should get the 125 piece set at the slashed down UN-BEL-EEV-ABLE!! price of only $59.99. It seems like such a good deal at 2:30 in the morning.

I'm thinking of looking into maybe buying some chain mail armor, after watching this show a couple of times.

Given the swords they sell at times, I would not be surprised if they also offered armor, although I haven't actually seen any armor yet.

I thought that story about the guy stabbing himself on live TV sounded familiar.
Well, at least you know the pieces are real.

That YouTube clip is hilarious, Willowtree! Good thing the guy wasn't badly hurt. I guess quality is not the highest over at the Knife Show, if their swords shatter with a tap on the counter!

I bought the grave digger set for $199.98 a 148 pc. set thinking I could at least double my money selling them at work and or a flea market from time to time. People! let me tell you save your money, these knives are garbage and I would not even think of bringing these knifes to work and trying to sell them to my fellow co,workers! its amazing what television does for marketing, old school rule of thumb have the item in hand before buying, and if its to good to be true it usually is !!!

Yeah, those big item number specials seem to be full mostly of crap knives. I purchase an item or two here and there, but the shipping is sometimes half of the total,if not more. They have a seemingly endless supply of cool names for a lot of useless knives, but occasionally you can get a nice single item or two!
